Hello Curly Girls!!!
I have started to experiment with different products. I am determined to let the Mizani go for several different reasons now. Over the weekend, I bought a sample of hair one w/argan oil for curly hair. Hair One makes several different types of hair conditioning cleansers, but I opted to try the one for curly hair. I thought for $1.49, why not?
Hair one is supposed to be a alternative to the Wen products. Wen costs about $30 plus shipping for 16 oz. Hair one is about $11 for 12 oz. The ingredients are almost the same. I have heard that Wen is more conditioning amd thicker than Hair One. I can not validate that statement as I've never used Wen (nor do I plan to because of the price). What I can tell is that I enjoyed Hair One.
Hair One is sulfate free, but does have cones. Some CGs are ok with this and some are not. That is up to you. I am a modified CG totally (I've recently got mineral oil out of my life....I'm a work in progress ok!!) But I loved the Hair One.
So my regiment:
1. Hair One w/ Argan oil for curly hair. Followed the directions as listed. I didn't need 8 to 10 pumps. I only used about 5 and that worked for me.
2. Deep condition with 3 minute Undo by Garier Fructis (I'm not crazy about the DT but I haven't found anything else that I like better) mixed with Olive Oil. I left it on for about 2 hours (long story about the dryer), and then completely washed out the deep conditioner.
3. Used GVP the conditioner mixed with Shea Butter and olive oil and styled with QP Elasta Feels like Silk Styling Gel.
RESULTS:
WONDERFUL! So far so good. I'll provide updates later.
